Tee Pulling: Hydraulic piston ball-style pulls, and collar forming.
Cutting: Electro Chemical Grinding (ECG), laser cutting. Automatic vertical-column cold saw.
Welding: Weld lathes, computer-controlled enclosed orbital automatic welding, manual TIG (GTAW) welding, and proprietary ValWeld™ ID welding, close-proximity-orbital welding (CPOW). ASME Section IX compliance capability.
Mechanical Polishing: Manual and automated, high-speed, rotary grinders. Automated abrasive-flow machines.
Electropolishing: Wide capability for processing a large range of tube, pipe, fittings, and other stainless-steel components.
Passivation: Multiple tanks holding nitric acid in concentration up to 50%.
Cleaning: Recirculating detergent baths, solvent degreasers, 18 Megohm-cm heated deionized (DI) water, multistage heated ultrasonic cleaning.
UHP Gas Quality: Cryogenic Nitrogen (ambient and heated), 99.999% pure, and filtered to 0.01 μm at point of use. Cryogentic Argon 99.999% pure filtered at point-of-use.
Cleanrooms: ISO Class 4, Class 5, and Class 6 per ISO 14644.
Packaging: Vinyl or polypropylene caps over polyamide film. Single or double heat-sealed polyethylene bags. Crates, foam in-place insulation capability.
Testing: Helium-leak testing. Dye penetrant testing. Hydrostatic pressure testing. Particle, moisture, and oxygen testing. Surface roughness (Ra) per ASME B46.1. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) per SEMI F73. Profile-measuring (3D scanning) laser microscope. Auger Electron Spectroscopy (AES) per SEMI F72, X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy (XRF/PMI). Flow capacity testing per ANSI/ISA S75.02.
Traceability: Pin stamp, work-order signoff at every workstation, inspection certificate type 3.1.B per EN 10204, bar coding. Laser marking.
Inspection: QC personnel with extensive experience scrutinizing the surface of high-purity stainless steel, and components for the UHP industry. Borescope capability. 3D-coordinate dimensional measurement & 3D laser scan tools. Automated optical comparator (profile projector).
