Quality Technician
Ventura, CA

The Valex Quality Department is looking for a Quality Technician to join its team in Ventura, CA. Your primary responsibilities will include: full technical support to all internal and external customers; assist, review, sign new and modified (DCN) drawings, inspection plans know as Quality Control Inspection Plans (QCIP), and other documents; coordinate all material analysis outsourcing activities with third-party lab, including for any requests from our locations in Korea and China; and perform lab material analysis, including scanning electron analysis; and other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications: 2+ years' related experience as a quality, process, or manufacturing technician; proficiency in MS Excel, Powerpoint, Access, and Word; effective written and verbal communication skills; proficiency working in HTML format helpful; and Bachelor of Science degree in a related field preferred; must be eligible to work in the USA without sponsorship.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position and the pay range is $28-$32 per hour depending on experience.

Quality Manager - Ventura, CA
Ventura, CA

Valex Corp is looking for an experienced Quality Manager to join its Quality team in Ventura, CA. As the department's management representative, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the Valex quality system and the quality of its products. You will ensure all incoming material is qualified and conforms to specifications prior to shipment. You will support the sales department with complaints associated with material returns and other quality issues. You will execute all company policies, procedures, and workbench instructions as set for by Valex Corp. You will responsible for and/or perform all other functions needed to assure that our internal departments and customers are adequately supported by the quality department.


The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in a complimentary field and at least three years' experience as a Quality Manager. Experience in the Semiconductor industry, especially in the area of Ultra High Purity products is a big plus. You must be proficient in MS Suite, proficient in HTML (preferred, not required), and have effective written and verbal communication skills. You must also be able to travel when needed and be comfortable working under deadlines. Must be able to work in the USA without sponsorship.

This is an exempt position with an annual salary range of $125-$145k per year depending on experience. You will also be included in the company's incentive plan.

Valex Corp is looking for an experienced Quality Director to join its Quality team in Ventura, CA. As the department's leader, you will be responsible for maintaining all aspects of the Valex quality system and the quality of its products. You will ensure all incoming material is qualified and conforms to specifications prior to shipment. You will support the sales department with complaints associated with material returns and other quality issues. You will execute all company policies, procedures, and workbench instructions as set for by Valex Corp. You will responsible for and/or perform all other functions needed to assure that our internal departments and customers are adequately supported by the quality department.


The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor of Science degree in a complimentary field and at least five years' experience in quality management and leadership. Experience in the Semiconductor industry, especially in the area of Ultra High Purity products is a big plus. Experience in metallurgy and/or SEMI standards is another plus. You must have a working knowledge of ASTM/JIS, be proficient in MS Suite, proficient in HTML (preferred, not required), and have effective written and verbal communication skills. You must also be able to travel when needed (nationally and internationally) and be comfortable working under deadlines. Must be able to work in the USA without sponsorship.

This is an exempt position with an annual salary range of $155K-$175k per year depending on experience. You will also be included in the company's incentive plan.

IT Administrator
Round Rock, TX

We are seeking a qualified IT Administrator to join its team in Round Rock, TX. The ideal candidate will provide first level support to Valex employees and end users. IT administrator must be a skilled communicator with the ability to gather customer information, break down low complexity problems, identify solutions to quickly resolve reported issues, and effectively and efficiently communicate resolution to impacted employees. IT administrator is expected to ensure all reported problems are recorded in Valex IT service management systems and ensure compliance to Service Level Agreements based on the severity of reported issues, and escalate within Valex corporate IT departments, as necessary.


The IT Administrator is responsible for Support Desk and tasks, through coordination of installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintaining various types of software and hardware in support of our offices and factory. The IT administrator must be able to quickly evaluate business problems and work towards solutions and communicate tasks/projects effectively with Valex corporate IT departments. The FSA must be articulate, be process driven, and have a strong desire to deliver outstanding customer service.


Responsibilities:

Maintain system access and security according to policy and procedures.

Troubleshoot system related problems.

Manage and maintain operation of the computer systems. Update as required to minimize cost and obtain maximum utility.

Evaluate business systems for suitability for business operations. Consult users to determine software use requirement, and research hardware applicability. Document systems and create work instructions.

Determine business needs thru hardware/software determination. Diagnose, analyze, solve computer hardware and software issues. Negotiate contracts with outside consultants.

Assist in test and development of business systems and applications.


Qualifications:

BS in computer Science or equivalent, or 5 years in IT related field.

Minimum 2 years in MS Office and Windows Environment. Familiarity or exposure to RedHat Linux OS.

Minimum 5 years experience in current computer operating and communication systems.

Strong PC knowledge and experience.

Good organizational and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Mandarin and/or Korean fluency (written and verbal) is a plus (however, not a position requirement).

Must be able to work in the USA without sponsorship.

Pay: $28.84 - $38.46 per hour
